Outside Reading Post #4

Today I read an article about women transitioning from college to their careers and the difficulties associated with the change. This article says that many women are still feeling like they are second to men in the workforce. They undergo lower salaries, sexual harassment, and exclusion. I think that our world has come so far that we would be able to treat everybody equal. I believe that women don't deserve to be treated like this at all. They should be treated better then men, especially when they raise kids, cook, clean, etc. The fact that everybody isn't treated equally in our society is just wrong. I'm sure some companies are doing their best to make sure this happens, but obviously some are not. I believe that the government should step in and do something about this before it becomes irreversible.
