Outside Reading Post #1

Today I read an article about some of our recent natural disasters. Many people think that some disasters happen in related clusters but scientists say they are completely normal and this is the amount of activity that is standard for our planet. I think that these occurences really show us how strange and unknown our world is. Although some people may know how earthquakes or hurricanes happen, nobody knows the real answer for why they happen. The fact that hot lava comes shooting out of our core or a monstrous storm can just happen is just strange to me. I think in the future, we are going to be able to predict and eventually prevent these natural disasters from happening and potentially killing people.
